AI Agent Ally: Your Question Writing Helper (Ally is an Ally, or an AI-ly)-Modifying prompts for Ally

Video Transcription

Video Summary

The video explains how AI-generated questions are built and customized. The “View Prompt” feature shows the system prompt, which defines general question requirements, and the question-specific prompt, which includes topic, difficulty, subtopic, and learning objective. Reference questions guide writing style, not content. Organizations can add the NBME medical question-writing guidelines and their own general guidelines, while individual item banks can have additional rules. The demonstration shows these settings appearing in the prompt and affecting generated questions, including an item-bank instruction that led to a question referencing Marvel characters.
