I have logged in as a learner, and just to confirm, I'm gonna search for the course Thor, which doesn't show up for me, and then I search for the course Iron Man, and it does not show up for me. The idea is I have not enrolled in any of those courses, but I am enrolled in this course, the entry-level course that we'll use to create a trigger, so I'm going to continue with that exam. I actually have set myself up so that I will pass, so I'm gonna click on Proceed, and I will fill out a little evaluation at this point, so we're just gonna quickly fill this out. Go. All right, so now, oh, I missed one. So now that I have submitted the evaluation, I will be considered complete. Actually, I don't even need to claim the credit, because claiming the credit is not part of the course completion. So now if I go to the catalog, in theory, I should be able to find Thor, because I have already enrolled in Thor right here, and this is gonna be a difficult course that I can take. So, and what happened is, if I jump over to Admin View, I can actually see the logs to see exactly how I was added to the more difficult course. So I'm gonna search for the user, and I go to the logs, and when I go to the logs, you'll see that the user enrolled in this and the user was passed. Oh, here, the activity trigger, system enrolled due to the completion of in this course. So that is how a course trigger can be set up to enroll the user based on passing a course, and obviously, failing the course will trigger the user getting enrolled in the easier course. So I hope this sort of illustrate how you can use a course trigger to enroll the user in one course or a bundle of courses, or several standalone courses. The course triggers can be multiple. You do not, you don't have to only have one trigger, you can have multiple triggers.
Video Summary
The video transcript describes a learner's experience with an online course platform. The learner searches for courses named "Thor" and "Iron Man" but does not find them. However, the learner is already enrolled in an entry-level course and proceeds with taking an exam, ensuring a passing outcome. The learner completes an evaluation and is considered finished, without needing to claim credit. They then search for the "Thor" course in the catalog and find it, indicating they can now access a difficult course. By checking the logs in admin view, the learner discovers that their enrollment in the difficult course was triggered by passing the entry-level course. The video emphasizes the flexibility and possibility of having multiple course triggers for enrolling users in various courses or bundles. No credits or sources were mentioned in the transcript.
