Assessment Exam - Question Writing and Review-Step 1b. Setting up an Item Bank for Question Review

In addition to allowing an exam to take advantage of the question writing and review mechanics in OASIS, OASIS also allows you to set up an item bank where you also take advantage  of the question review process. Item bank is a very flexible way of having a bunch of questions created and vetted before deciding which product is going to be used in.  Go to item bank and click on add item bank and suppose we call this say 2019 question item bank and let's say 2019.  And then you pick which topic this item bank is going to contain questions on. And then you decide which make sure you say it's open for writing and you pick the type of questions.  Make sure that you enable question review because even though you can manually add questions  to item bank without a question review process, this video tutorial is meant to show how to turn on question review process for item bank.  And then every step after this is identical to the question review workflow that we have recorded in the later video tutorial for exam.  Just keep in mind you can think of item bank as a exam that contains questions but whose  questions are never going to be distributed on that exam but will be reused in other product.
