Now that I have set up the item bank let's just pick the questions that I want to reuse but before I reuse them I would like to make sure that they're still good by going through a review process on these questions that I want to reuse, right? So I just want to make sure we're going to say we want to review before reuse basically, okay? So just for simplicity's sake I'm just going to say that I want to look at some questions I'm using in 2020. Let's say for example this exam and I would like to grab the questions that is in these two topics just happen to be the two topics that our item bank reflects and there's seven questions that's available. Obviously you can cherry pick you know where the questions come from but the bottom line is I'm just going to copy the question IDs here. I always like to grab the question IDs just because I feel like it's a very definitive way of deciding what questions I want to reuse. So you can repeat this process and grab as many question IDs as you want. I'm just going to copy these and suppose you finally grabbed a list of question IDs you want to review then reuse. I'm just going to copy it here and then you do a check all and these are clone selected questions. And then what you do is so these are the ones so I'm going to say hey I do a cross item bank cloning and then the question that's being cloned I want to keep it as finalized just because they might be actually ready for review because I want to make sure that when they are copied over they're ready for someone to review. And then the question is being cloned to the 2021 item bank the one that just set up and they can also say how do I make sure that the title is instinct is indicative of the fact that it's cloned. I can just say append dash clone. If you don't we're just going to create a unique key but I really like dash cloned. And I also say hey do a multimedia cloning as well so that I don't want to reuse the image. I want to create a new copy of the image just in case I want to make changes to the image. I don't accidentally affect the image that was using question before. So remember there are seven questions I'm going to click on clone. I have cloned seven questions and notice that the questions has a little clone icon next to the ones that has been cloned. And as a matter of fact I can click on it and then notice that it has the word clone on it so we know it's cloned and notice that it tracks that it is cloned from this question and they track the fact that it has been cloned to this item bank. In addition I can go to filter. I can search for give me other one that's cloned and then you can also find the other one that's cloned. So that's a really easy way to find the ones that you have cloned but the idea here is I just cloned over seven questions into the new item bank that I created.
