so we have already set up a product called question of the week here and it is a multi-part course and the inside the multi-part course we already have four uh question of the week so we're just going to add one more to show the steps so we're going to click on add a course add the new course and keep in mind because we are pushing out the question we are selecting assessment exam so we're going to make this question of the week let's say this is a fifth week and because all the questions uh in my in this system are tagged two topics we're going to select the topic and then we're going to select the credit the user will receive for answering that one question so we're going to go all the way to the end and keep in mind we only have one question it's a question of the week not questions of the week and the way that we're going to do it we're just going to say hey it's a hundred percent you got to pass you got to answer that one question correct and i'm not going to give you a chance to re-attempt if you miss it you're not going to get the credit so here we go so we're going to populate the questions later um there's no reason to print things out and we don't really need to randomize the question because it's just one question but let's just randomize for in case in the future we need to do three questions in you know let's call it the questions of the week right so then what we're going to do is we're just going to populate the question from an existing pool of questions that we already have like i mentioned earlier we're not trying to show how to set up a assessment exam in this video tutorial because that is not the focus of the call what we're trying to do is just show how to set up the mechanics where we can push a course to the user at a particular interval notice that because it's one question it's going to trigger the alert saying that the question is skewed in its distribution because a hundred percent of the question has the b as the correct answer which is fine because given that it's only one question doesn't matter which question we pick the distribution is going to be skewed so we're going to walk through the uh steps just like we normally do for assessment exam so now what we have is we're going to have let's just go back to the let's look at the siblings so you can see that and notice that uh we probably want to toggle it so that it's optional okay so that each week is optional now we have five weeks of a question being pushed out obviously you can build this out to 52 if you have a whole year worth of questions and keep in mind that because it's assessment exam because it's a multi-part the more you add in the future even after the product is launched the user will still get it so now what i'm going to do is let's just go back to the top and let's just select our question of the week product and the most important thing is there's a drip schedule here so each multi-part course has a drip schedule button available so and you can see here you can drag and drop questions over to the week right so we have already set it up earlier but the global calendar rolling calendar is essentially the same as the definition used for the earlier variety where the questions are sent either at the same schedule for everyone or staggered for everyone so now i'm just going to scroll down here so this is week four and i'm going to drag week five here so as you can see the way that i'm setting it up is on when the user first start the product they will get question of the week one which is the baseline and then seven days after on day seven they're going to get sent question of week two one of the most important thing in the setup is you got to remember to do a reminder and the reason is that because things are pushed to the user over a period of time the user may not remember to come back to the system to answer that question after one week so you probably want to say i want to let them know as soon as it's available one day after it's available probably also want to let them know three days after it's available and maybe seven days after it's available let's you don't have to do three uh three notification two is fine or even just one is fine um keep in mind that when you do that when you save there's a little pencil icon that allows you to change the message that's going out so but by default this is the default message and it works perfectly fine so this is how you can set up i um uh sort of a time released question product where every time they answer a question they will receive credit instead of waiting until the very end to receive credit
Video Summary

The speaker mentions that only one question is needed for the "Question of the Week." They discuss randomization and populating questions from an existing pool. The speaker emphasizes the mechanics of pushing a course to the user at a specific interval and the importance of setting up reminder notifications. Overall, the video provides instructions on setting up a time-released question product within a course.
