Auto-Caption for Video Content-6 - Handling closed caption when the video is spoken in another language (not English)

Video Transcription

Suppose you have a video that is in a language other than English. So I'm just going to show everyone. This is the example of a video that happens to play in Spanish.  OK, so I know that my recording is not coming over. The audio from the video I'm playing is not coming over in my own recording, but this presentation is in Spanish.  Right. So what we're going to do is I'm going to show how the transcription will work when you upload a video that is in a language other than English. So.  So I'm going to call this a video in Spanish, just so that we can remember this is the video, and I'm just going to paste the link to the video and I'm just going to click on save.  So now what happens is we're going to pause the video when Oasis is download the video transcript, transcode the video so that it can play  on all the browsers and then do a transcription using OpenAI. So I'm going to pause the video and resume when that is done. All right, so I'm resuming the recording  when this video has already been transcribed in from English, from Spanish. So what we're going to do is we're going to jump over on the learner side.  I'm just going to show what the system does automatically. OK, so I'm just going to go to the course  that has a video, and this is the video that literally called a video in Spanish. So as you can see, when I start to play it, I'm just going to mute it.  You'll see that he actually detected that the audio is in Spanish and he actually translated into Spanish.  In addition.  Oasis will always transcribe it in English if it is in another spoken language. So if you click on English, you will see that everything is transcribed  in English in addition to its original spoken language, which is Spanish. It is important to remember that we are not we're not replacing the audio track with the English speaker.  So the video will still be in Spanish, but the teleprompter feature actually allows a user to sort of read in English or Spanish. In addition, they can also turn off  the the closed caption and just let this grow.
