Once you have been notified that your parse profession mapping has been implemented, you can go to report, activity report, course report, parse report, and then you can go to parse raw data. Now you will be able to generate the raw data that has been calculated for the profession that you have initially requested. So as an example here, you can say that I want a quarterly report, I want 2023, and I want Q3's report. And over here, there are two toggles you can control on what type of course you want to include. For example, you can say that I want to include all the courses in my parse report. You can also say that I only want to include courses that has credit. So if you say only courses with credit, then you have three choices to define what is considered a participant. You can say that anyone who started the course is considered a participant, or anyone who have finished, or anyone who have claimed the credit. As you can see here, by definition, the number of users starting the course is going to be more than the user who have finished the course, because not everyone finished the course that they started. And everyone who have finished the course, the number is going to be higher than the number of people who have claimed credit. And that is because sometimes people will finish the course, but they don't actually claim the credit until a little bit later, so that they can time the credit claim date for their reporting period. So if you toggle it to all, then you only have two choices, whether you want to define the participant as start, or whether you want to define the participant as finished. Typically, we recommend to select all courses for target course and define the participant as starting the course. Thank you.
Video Summary
This video explains how to generate a raw data report for a specific profession. Once the mapping is implemented, you can access the report through the activity, course, parse, and parse raw data sections. You can customize the report by selecting the desired quarter and year. There are two toggles to choose from regarding the type of course to include. You can include all courses or only courses with credit. If you select "all," you can define participants as those who started the course or those who finished it. It is recommended to select all courses and define participants as course starters.
