After you have decided the reporting period and the definition and the scope for course and participant, you can then generate the report. So as you can see, sometimes the report is fairly short, then you can just download the Excel file, and then you will be able to download the Excel file directly to your computer. So here's an example of what the report looks like. So I'm just going to zoom in a little bit to show that. And you probably want to delete the first few columns because that's what we use to track what was the criteria used to generate your PARS report. But as you can see here, we actually do display two columns for the name of the course. One column is the parent course, another one is a child course, just in case you actually use a multi-part course setup for your courses. But if it's not a multi-part course, then the column A and the column B is going to be the same. And you can see we also display the status, whether the course is published or not. You can fill in the PARS code if it's not already populated. And we also tell you exactly how many users of each profession you have requested. And then this, you can drop it off into your existing PARS report. We refer to this Excel file as raw data for PARS, and the full report, we refer to it as a full PARS report. Now, if you have a lot of data, when you click on Generate Report, you will notice that the system is going to say, hey, you have too much data. I'm not going to display it to you. You have to download the Excel file, and what happens is we actually kick it into the queue, and you just have to go to the queue. And so queue is right here. You just have to keep an eye on the queue. Depending on the size of your data, it might take two, three, or even five minutes to process. But the idea here is you can download the data as Excel file, or if it's too big, when you try to download, you will go to the queue. And the data that you download will have the name of the courses, two columns in case it's a child-parent relationship, the status of the course, any PARS code that you have loaded, and the count for each profession that you're interested in. Thank you.
Video Summary
To generate a report, first determine the reporting period and define the course and participant parameters. Once this is done, you can download the Excel file directly to your computer. The report includes columns for the name of the course, status (published or unpublished), PARS code, and the count of users for each profession requested. The Excel file is referred to as raw data for PARS, and the complete report is referred to as a full PARS report. If there is a large amount of data, the system will prompt you to download the file from the queue, which may take a few minutes to process.
