In this video tutorial, we'll show higher level what are the possibilities with public catalog that is available within Oasis LMS. Keep in mind that public catalog is the landing page where users see before they have logged in. In almost all cases, Oasis allow you to have minimum configuration or have as many configurations as you prefer. By default, without any configuration, what's highlighted in green is what is available. So as you can see, any courses you have will be listed in the full course listing and we have a keyword search box that allows user to search. As an example, here is what that will look like. As you can see here, it simply has search box and a list of all the courses you have. The sorting order of the course listed can be configured, but the goal is to simply have a full listing. If you want to add additional features to public catalog, the easiest one to turn on is featured course. When you turn on the featured course, this is what the page will look like. As you can see, there is a feature tab now that we happen to have only two courses featured. The idea is you want to make courses that you're promoting or the courses that's coming up more prominently on the public catalog page for the user to discover. Alternatively, the user can search for the catalog or go to the catalog tab and browse the full listing. In addition to featuring a course, you can also add banner and search groups to your public catalog. Here is an example of public catalog page where it has a featured course and a catalog tab. In addition, we have grouped courses into different sections to allow user to quickly discover the course that is interest to them. Last but not least, this is an example of how a banner has been set up for your public catalog page. As you can see, you have the banner, you have section to allow user to browse your course, you have a feature tab, and you also have a catalog tab. Every single one of these options can be turned on by itself or everything can be turned on as a group. In later sections, we'll go over how to set up the featured course, a search group, and banner to give you an idea what are all the options when these features are opt-in.
