Catalog Setup and Configuration-Separating Function from Display

So what you see here is an example of catalog layout in Explorer view  You can see that the rotating banner is right here. You can see that there is the organization of the content right here  there's a search box here and the other feature courses are listed here and  all the full catalog is listed here, so all the features of  rotating banner a search criteria feature course full catalog and the search are completely available in the  in the Explorer view. Now what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna switch  as administrator on a different browser, I click on catalog setting and I will select chef view  Notice I did not do anything else. I just tell the system that I would like to display the catalog using a different layout  Now if I click on catalog notice that the catalog changes the rotating banner still at the top  There is a search bar right here a search bar here with drop down on the across the top  Instead of on the left-hand side and then notice that the feature courses is displayed in a rotating banner here  Last but not least all the catalog content are listed as a tile view here So this is the chef view Now without doing anything different. I'm gonna select the stack view  Now when I go back and click on catalog Everything that was enabled before is still available. It's just that they're arranged differently  I still have the search box. I still have the drop down for the search criteria  I still have the feature courses which is displayed here. There's also a feature search criteria feature courses is here  Feature search criteria is here and then the rotating banner is at the bottom. So as you can see  everything that is available are enabled functionally and  based on how which  Layout you select the same features. The same setup is  Displayed but in under different layout. This is what we mean by Separating function from display. Thank you
