In this video tutorial, we'll talk about how you can create a badge that is linked to a certification. This tutorial assumes that you're already familiar with how to set up a certification. And in my demo system, I have a certification called Level 10 Master Chess Certification. It's just a silly certification to highlight the fact that I already have something in the system. This tutorial also assumes that you are familiar with the ability to set up a badge. So I'm going to set up a badge. I'm going to call this badge Elite Chess Player. In this particular case, I'm going to say that it is a certification-based badge or achievement, depending on how you call it in your system. And also, I will say that this is expirable, is expirable. And we're going to highlight exactly what that means in a little bit. But you don't have to select a yes if you don't want to. I'm going to click on Save. Now that I have a badge, I can obviously use the visual designer to set up this badge. But my focus here today is how to set up this badge where the user who is going to earn this badge is based on achieving a certification. And in this case, I'm just going to add a certification. So as you can see, previously, the user will earn a badge by completing a set of learning activities. This time, the user will earn this badge by earning the certification. So as you can see here, Alfonso and Brad Pitt has earned it, whereas David and John and Novita has not, and some of them has expired. So we want to highlight exactly what that means when their certification has expiration date, which will translate into how the badge will expire in a video later. But this video just really highlight how you can set up a badge where the earning criteria is based on certification instead of on a set of courses. Thank you.
