Video Transcription
Sometimes, when you have a lot of users, for example, almost 500 users taking an exam, you can compare their score against each other. Other times, the users are actually very different. For example, they can be a year one student taking the same exam as a year six student, and their score cannot be compared without considering the fact that they have been there at a different part of their program. When you want to compare user against their peer group, you must do two steps. First, you have to sort your user into different groups, and then you have to use these groups, link it to the exam for segmentation and peer comparison. So this video tutorial will be followed by two steps. One, to show how you can set up a user group. Another one, to show you how you can link these user groups for peer comparison, user segmentation. And when you do that, not only can administrator sees the data, coordinator will also be able to see their dashboard data. For example, here, this is a coordinator dashboard for a particular program. You will be able to see a drop down to allow the user to select the dashboard based on which peer group he wants to see.
Video Summary
This video tutorial explains how to compare users against their peer groups in an exam setting. It highlights the challenge of comparing scores between different users, such as students in different years, and emphasizes the need to consider their program progress. The tutorial suggests two steps to accomplish this: sorting users into different groups and linking these groups to the exam for segmentation and peer comparison. It further mentions that both administrators and coordinators can access the data, with coordinators having the ability to select specific peer groups to view on their dashboard. No specific credits are mentioned in the transcript.
