In this example, we'll show that not only can you have a gallery of videos, you can also have a gallery of text, such as some posters, which are typically found in an annual meeting, right? So I can just – just a few examples of what a poster might look like. So – and you notice that if the poster has any keywords, they are basically listed at the bottom. One thing that is going to be very handy is if someone wants to search for intellectual disability, for example, as we have shown in earlier videos, you can basically search for this and do a search, and that will work. But that's only if the user knows that intellectual disability is a keyword to search. So there is a variety of other type of learner tools that you want to make available so that user can quickly and easily find things with a little bit of guidance. So what does this mean, right? So I will show the result, and then I will show mechanically how to set it up. The result is you can set up additional filters, right, where they can pick things other than bookmark or viewed or ratings. They can actually pick the authors, some of the keyword that's preloaded into the system, or maybe even some quick filters. So how do we set this up? In order to do this, the first thing you have to do is you have to make sure that all your content are properly tagged. So I'm just going to go to the example that I'm showing to show you how tagging your content religiously will allow a variety of different capabilities to open up in the system. So here, let's say I go to this particular module, and I will see that this particular course has 10 data tagged, right? So this just tells you that all this data that is associated with each asset will open up all the filters and search capabilities. So Oasis 360 Factor team can definitely help with loading these keywords if you have them in a spreadsheet similar to this, right? So basically, you can have each row represent a particular asset, and you can associate three keywords for this one, five for another one. So we can help you load this if it's too manually intensive, but you already have it in Excel format. So imagine we have already loaded into the system, then what you can do is you can set up the filter, what is what we refer to as the shortcuts. So I'm just going to delete the shortcuts that's already set up and show you how to set it up. So there is a tag shortcut here, so I'm just going to delete these, then to show you how to set them up. If I delete them, if I go to the learner site, you will see that the filter will only have what was available by default. And that's only if you turn on rating, this one will show up. Okay, so how do I turn on other filters? So easy. Go to the admin site. You got to know which meta tag you want to use as a pivot. So what you do is you go to the course itself and go to the tag shortcut, and you want to say that the first one, I want to pivot on, say, keyword. So I want to say that the name is going to be, let's say, filter by keywords, okay? I'm going to click on add. So when you do this, what it means is there's going to be a dropdown that's going to have a label called filter by keyword, and that's going to list every value with the tag keyword. So let's see what that looks like. So I'm going to go back to the same product that I was just viewing earlier. Now you'll see that there's a filter by keyword, which is exactly what we talked about earlier. And then here's all the value that has the tag keyword. So here's all the value that's available. The user can also click on see all, and then basically check only the one that they want, and then do apply to basically apply that filter, and then see everything matches only the keyword that I selected. So let's just do this one more time. So let's go back to here, and let's just add another one. Let's say that there are presentation type, and let's say we'll say filter. This is just shortcut, so let's say list. I want to make the shortcut name slightly different so that you understand the shortcut name is completely controlled here and not hard-coded. So by type. So now what happens is, let's just refresh this screen. Let me go to the library again. Just revisit the product. Let me clear the filter. And here you can see that the list by type is shown up here, and that there is two distinct value for it. Now just keep in mind that there is a fixed width and height associated with each filter, so if you don't, for example, if platform presentation is too long, it's going to wrap, and if you don't like it, you can change the name of it to, for example, platform session, for example, just so that it will fit within the width. So this is just another way to leverage any meta tag that you have already set up and then create additional filters that does not come out of the box that require you to set up manually.
Video Summary
In the video, the presenter demonstrates how to create a gallery of text, such as posters, alongside videos in an online platform. They explain that posters can be tagged with keywords, which can be searched by users to find relevant content. The presenter emphasizes the importance of properly tagging all content to enable various filters and search capabilities. They show how to set up additional filters, referred to as shortcuts, by selecting a meta tag as a pivot point and creating a dropdown menu with corresponding values. The presenter also mentions that the Oasis 360 Factor team can assist with loading keywords from a spreadsheet.
