Before we jump into the mechanics behind upsell and upgrade, we want to get a few terminologies out of the way. Arbitrarily, Oasis have decided to refer to upsell as a mechanic that happens before the user makes a purchase. And the idea is, hey, if a user is buying course A, I'm going to try to nudge them to buy course B, for example. In my example, potentially it's a bundle. It doesn't have to be. And then for a higher price. Upgrade is a mechanic that happens after the user has made a purchase. And the idea here is to say, hey, now that you have already bought course A, why don't you buy course B for a discount? So notice, even though the idea is similar, when someone is either before they buy course A or after they already bought course A, we're trying to get them to pay a little bit more to go course B. But the word upsell refers to the mechanics before they make the purchase. And the mechanic upgrade refers to someone who have already made the purchase. This is after. So now that we have understand the terminology, we are going to record the mechanics on the admin side on how to set this up. And on the user side, how the user experience looks like. Thank you.
