Video Transcription
This is first of several video tutorial where we'll go over how to use Oasis to set up a subscription inside Oasis. So here I'm just going to talk about conceptually how to do a subscription. So typically subscription, which is representing the purple color, is essentially a bundle. The idea is you're going to set up a bundle and then you're just going to cherry pick all the existing courses, which are in red, to say, hey, I'm already selling these courses. I'm just going to make them part of the bundle. So obviously you don't have to do all of them. But in my example, I can say that, hey, I'm going to pick three of the on-demand course I have already selling. I'm going to make them part of the bundle. I'm going to take one of the document repository and also make it a part of the bundle. I'm going to take one of the assessment exam, make it part of the bundle. And then the green represent maybe some courses that you're not selling to the public, but you specially curate just for this bundle. So these two green boxes represent those. So what I just did is conceptually I can take some courses, which was in red, and those are already standalone for sale on its own. I'm going to say not only can people buy individually, I will make it part of this bundle. And also I have two, you know, hypothetically I have two courses that's not sold on its own, but I will also make it part of this bundle. And I'm going to call this bundle a subscription. So essentially in Oasis, a subscription is just a bundle with a few features turned on so that you will behave similar to a bundle, similar to a subscription, but it is just a bundle underneath. So the next few tutorial will show exactly how to do this. But conceptually, it's as simple as setting up a bundle. Thank you.
Video Summary
In this video tutorial, the speaker explains how to set up a subscription using Oasis. They describe a subscription as a bundle, represented by the color purple. The idea is to select existing courses (represented by the color red) and add them to the bundle. The speaker provides an example of selecting three on-demand courses, one document repository, and one assessment exam to be part of the bundle. They also mention the inclusion of specially curated courses (represented by the color green). The speaker emphasizes that a subscription in Oasis is essentially a bundle with specific features enabled. The video concludes by stating that future tutorials will provide step-by-step instructions for setting up a subscription. No credits were mentioned in the transcript.
