Once your users are populated with the custom fields, under users, there's a way to search your users based on custom fields. So for example, now that I have data downloaded,  I could say, give me everybody who is MD and do a search. Everybody who have logged in, whose single sign-on happened to be MD, and in my example,  single sign-on's MD field is saved to Oasis, I will be able to look it up. So once again, if you have any activated custom fields,  there's a search by custom fields that become fairly useful. If you don't need to download the data, you just want to do a quick search.
