Sometimes when you have a meta tag for your content, occasionally you might accidentally create tags that are really typos of each other. So for example, there are hair slash nail and a hair slash nail without the space. After you tag a lot of your content already, to actually fix this becomes a little bit of a pain. So here is how you can quickly and easily fix these. I'm going to come over here as an administrator. I'm going to click on the meta data tag. I'm going to click on manage metadata and this time I'm actually managing the tags for the assets. Now what I'm going to do is I'm going to click on merge tag and I'm going to say for everything that is, actually this one is here. Let me see. There we go. For everything that's hair and nail, I am going to merge it to hair and now with a space for more readability. So all you have to do is just say I'm going to merge everything that was, I will merge the tags so that what was used to be tagged for the one on the top is going to be mapped tag to the one at the bottom. This will only work if your meta tag is list based. So I'm going to click on merge so the old tag will actually get deleted. So over here I'm just going to refresh and now when I go to hair. There we go. The other spelling is no longer there. So this is just an easy way for you to fix some of the tagging to remove the duplicated tags due to either plural or space or typo. Thank you.
