We're going to go through an example of how to set up a survey in the system so that when the user log in, they are prompted to answer the survey before they can actually see their homepage. Only one survey can be opened at a time. So to turn it on, we go to the course layout and then we click on survey. So after you turn it on, if you go to the dashboard, there's a survey icon. So now we're just going to set up a new survey. So we click on add new survey and then we give it a title. So I type something up. How did you find out about us? There we go. So we can give a description if we want. So let's just give it a description. And now we set up a few questions. You can have as many questions as you want, but we recommend one, maybe two to keep it simple. So we're just going to set up one question. The question name is just a way to track the question for reporting. And the title is going to be please tell us how you find out about us. And let's say it is a multiple choice. And we're going to create a few custom options. I'm just going to set up a few simple ones, friends, school teacher, Google, and let's say others. And if they select other, we want them to actually give us an answer. And suppose this is the only question we're going to have. So we click on publish. So it is officially published. So now let's say we're going to pretend that we're going to log in as a user. So I'm just going to log in as a user here. There we go. As soon as the user logs in, the user is going to see the page to answer the survey. They can click on later if they want. If they click on later, then they can always have an option to go to my courses. And on the right-hand side, there's a survey for them to take. They can then answer the question to say mailer in my house. There we go. And click on submit. And that is how a survey can be conducted. As soon as the user finishes the survey, they're never going to see it again. One thing to remember is that survey, after you set up a survey, the questions cannot be changed because users have already answered it. So it's very important that you decide what questions to ask before you publish it. And this is the survey report given that there's only one completion. So that is what we have. It's a standard survey with simple questions. That concludes a quick video tutorial on how to set up surveys.
