Introduction to Document Repository-Two Layout Options

repository also have a unique layout that is not available for other type of courses. Under content, if it's document repository, you have a layout option of one page which  is default or the explorer layout. The explorer layout is available as long as your content is one level, namely you don't have modules and sections for your content.  In the future, we might make explorer layout also available for more nested content. But in the current version of Oasis, if your content is only one level, you can have option  of one page or explorer. Let me explain the difference. I'm going to go to 2016 webinar series to show you what a one page look like.  So this is how things are displayed as a one page. Now I can switch over and say I don't want the one page layout. I want the explorer layout.  So I simply click on explorer and then if I go to the learner view, you'll see that it will show up all the titles on the left hand side and then the content will show up  on the right hand side. This is what we refer to as explorer layout. Some content looks better on one page layout. Some content looks better on explorer layout.  So it's completely up to you on which layout you feel looks better for your particular content.  But just keep in mind that you have both options and all the features I'm going to show later for document repository is available regardless which layout you're talking about.
