In this video tutorial, we'll show how to set up the easiest form of a live event within Oasis. The reason we say it is easiest is we're only going to set up a live event where the user can register and get provided information to go to the live event. There won't be any additional component or features turned on for this live event. In a separate tutorial, we'll explain how to create a live event that requires more steps for the learner. So, what we're going to do, as administrator, you can go to course, create new, or we can just say add a course. In this particular example, we'll assume that for the live course, we're going to create a course that is coming up in a few weeks. So, let's say we call it weekend workshop live. Ignore some of the packages setting here, it's just different configuration, but we're just going to click on next. So, here we're going to use internal registration instead of external registration. The idea is learner will be able to register within Oasis instead of getting forwarded to another website to do registration. And we're going to select standalone because this is a course they will register that they will be able to attend a single session and be considered complete. There is also ability to do session series where user's registration will give them access to multiple sessions where they can attend. So, we keep it as a standalone session and we're going to make this course starting October 1st. And we're going to say it is going to start at 8am, say Pacific time, and the course is going to last 8 hours. And then we're going to add some location information. In this example, let's say that is the location information. We're going to open for registration and we're going to say that there are 10 seats minimum and we can accommodate up to 25 seats. And we're going to enable waiting list. With that said, we're going to click on next. And here is where all the features you can select for live course. In this particular example, we're only going to keep things simple by providing some event information. And we're just going to go all the way down and click on next. So, now we have created a shell for the course and we're going to add a little bit more event information. So, under event information we can add different sections to it. So, first one, let's say we call it registration. And for the description, we're going to copy and paste some text here. And then we're going to click on add. As you can see, here's some information about the registration. We can add a few more sections to the event information. Now, we have added two more sections, one for driving directions and one for hotel. Obviously, your case might vary. When I have populated these, I can click on preview to see what the user will see. And as you can see, this is what the user will see. So, now what I will do is I will publish the course so that people can register.
