Video Transcription
Continue on our conversation with permalinks, you can also grab the permalink for a particular piece of content in your product. So here's a list of content that's in this particular document repository. What you can do is you can click on this icon and then you can get two pieces of content. One is an authenticated version, one is an unauthenticated version, and the idea is very similar. The regular version displays the product and then the user can log in to see the content, whereas this one does not. So I'm just going to show you. Here's an example. I click on it. If I go directly, you will see the user directly get to the product. Note that OASIS will enforce user entitlement checks so that having a permalink to the content does not give user a way to bypass any purchase checks or entitlement checks. OASIS will still verify the user have access to the product before sending the user directly to the content. But having a direct link to the content sometimes is useful if you want to market a particular content inside a particular product outside of OASIS. Thank you.
Video Summary
In this video, the speaker discusses the use of permalinks to access specific content in a document repository. By clicking on an icon, users can access authenticated and unauthenticated versions of content. The authenticated version requires users to log in, while the unauthenticated version does not. However, user entitlement and purchase checks are still enforced by OASIS, ensuring that users cannot bypass these checks. Direct links to content can be valuable for marketing purposes outside of OASIS.
