I'll go through the second type of a practice exam that's available in OASIS, which is what we refer to as MN-defined practice exam. So we're just going to go through the exact same process as we just went through for a user-defined one, but this time we are going to use the other criterias, except the part where it's going to be different. So let's do board simulation 2018, for example. Okay, so we're going to select the exact same topics, just as the previous example, just so that we'll illustrate only the part that's different. Oh, this one has been used. Let's do this. We're going to leave credit empty, and we're going to put zero as price, so that we can use it as an illustration purpose. So now make sure you select practice exam, and instead of leave it at the user-defined, you flip over to MN-defined. When you select MN-defined, more boxes that used to be frozen are now enabled. So you can say each time you create one, let's call it simulation. You can say that each simulation you create, you don't get to choose whether it's exam mode or learning mode. You have to do it in exam mode. You can then pick how to generate. You can say it's a weighted dynamic, which basically generates questions based on a blueprint with a certain percentage. You can say that each time you generate, it's 60 questions. I will give you 120 minutes to do. Let's say you can do as many times as you want, but you can only do one at a time. So we're going to click on save and continue. So here is where you set up the weight. So I can say 10, 15, 20, and this one will be 15, will be 60. There we go. Alright, so once again, we're going to reuse question, but let's just skip this step for now to go to the end, so we can populate in one go. So now we have set up as a user-defined practice exam. We're just going to populate some questions over. So keep in mind, we're actually going to populate the same set of questions that we used for the previous example where we were doing a user-defined practice exam. So here we go. So I'm just going to quickly add. So do we add everything? Let's see. Oh, I think we can add some more. Let's see. Yeah, we have a few more we can add to it. So it looks like the previous example, I could have added 100 more, but I missed it. So this one is going to end up having 270 questions instead of 170 questions, which is fine. So now what we're going to do is I'm going to publish it, and then we're going to go through the example of what the learner experience looks like. So I'm going to publish, and here we go. Notice it's always random. We're going to leave it here, display score, and we're going to publish. So next video, we're going to show what the learner flow looks like based on practice exam where the exam generation rule has been defined by the administrator. So we're going to do that example next.
Video Summary
In this video, the speaker discusses the MN-defined practice exam available in OASIS. They explain how to set up this type of exam, which includes selecting topics and generating questions based on a blueprint with a certain percentage. The speaker also mentions that each simulation created using MN-defined must be done in exam mode and can only be done one at a time. They demonstrate how to set up the weight for the exam and how to populate questions. The video ends by mentioning that in the next video, they will show the learner flow for this type of exam where the exam generation rule has been defined by the administrator. No specific credits are mentioned in the video.
