We have set up a board simulation 2019, which is a practice exam with the MnDefine blueprint. We're gonna go through as a learner to see what that looks like. So now I just give myself free access so that I can go through the process without actually making the purchase. All right, so now notice that we asked for 60 questions. So that's 60 questions. We set 120 minute as a timer, so that's what we got. And if you look at the topic, this topic 10, 15, 20, and 15 matches exactly what we defined as a blueprint. So now we can get started. So as the user goes through the simulation, because we're doing the exam mode, they don't actually see the accuracy of their responses until the very end. Notice that they can leave the course at any time and that they can revisit the course at any time. So four questions in to a 60 question simulation. Notice that because we say every time they create a practice exam, the name they refer to is simulation. That is what's used to display here. Also discard simulation, continue simulation, simulation status, the word simulation is sort of replaced everywhere where we had to refer to this particular attempt. So as you can see, the user can go through it. The user can always go to topic tab and see sort of where they are at the topic level. What I'm gonna do now is I'm gonna switch over to administrator and finish the exam for the learner and show what that looks like. So we're going to switch the administrator and I'm just gonna search for this user and I'm going to click. So now I'm going to go to user course and I'm going to finish the course for the user. So I'm just gonna go here and I'm gonna finish just so that we don't actually have to go through 160 questions ourself. Okay, so I'm gonna give myself a 58%. So now that the system literally answered the exam for the user and if I switch over to the learner view, I should be able to see what the user sees if they have finished. So let's go there. You can see it's almost exactly how much I give the user and if I go into it, you'll see because system answered it on behalf of learner, it's sort of abrupt that all the questions after certain point is incorrect. But as you can see here, things are laid out nicely and the learner can sort of use it to go through the simulation for review. They can create a new one. Keep in mind by template, it only allows one but they can also retake the simulation once again. So that is how a learner experience looks like when the practice exam is set up as admin defined using admin defined blueprint.
Video Summary
The video transcript describes the setup of a board simulation practice exam using the MnDefine blueprint. The user explains how they give themselves free access to go through the process without making a purchase. They set 60 questions and a 120-minute timer, matching the blueprint. During the simulation, the user cannot see the accuracy of their responses until the end. They can leave or revisit the course at any time. The transcript then switches to the administrator mode, where the user finishes the exam for the learner. The transcript concludes by showing the learner view, where they can review the simulation, create a new one, or retake it. No credits were mentioned.
