Video Transcription
In this video, we will show how to use filters to search against your questions. Click on filters right here, and a list of dropdowns that can be used as filter will display on the left-hand side. What you see in your system may not match what you see here in the system that I'm recording with, but the idea should translate. So either you see an item bank or you see created in, exam created in, and then we can say give me all the questions in, for example, in-service item bank. You will see that the 9,000 or so question matches, and that can also use exams, or in your system you might say exam used in, and then I can say give me all the ones in, for example, 2021. You will see that now it filtered down to 92, and then I can further filter it. I can say give me all the ones that's done by Amir, so I can say author. This is assuming that you're allowing your faculty to write questions into the system. So as you can see, depending on where you select, the more and more filters are cumulatively applied to the search so that you'll get less and less questions. Last but not least, I'm going to just apply this category filter, so I'm going to copy it just so that we can use it as an example. So I'm going to come over here to say, okay, for the topic family, I'm going to say it's path items, and for topic itself, I'm going to select, here we go. I'm just going to make sure that I select the right thing. So here we go. Pediatric pathology, pediatric perinatal pathology, and post-maturity. There we go. So even though I don't know what that means, I'm just going to apply, and you will see that only one question has come back. So as you can see, there's plenty of filters you can play around with, including, you know, clone versus original, when they're created, if you have tags, whether it had T value, discrimination index, variety of, or you can say give me other ones that has images or videos. So as you can see, this filter is quite powerful to allow you to slice and dice to look for questions that matches what you want. Thank you.
