Hi, so I'm going to show you how to enable the highlighter function in the self-assessment exam.  So basically, all you have to do is go to the exam in the menu items and then look for an exam. In my case, I know an exam that doesn't have it enabled, so I'm searching for it.  I'm going to click into the exam and then in the toolbox on the right-hand side of the page, you'll see a feature named advanced options.  Now in here, you want to scroll down on the options pane and then under the learner tools, look for highlighter. You see the red X, it means it's not enabled.  So what you want to do is click the edit button and then select the checkbox on the right of the enable highlighter and scroll back down and click update to make sure that that  feature is enabled now. And that's how you enable the highlighter feature for self-assessment exams. Thank you.
