So, suppose we want to upload a video, but we want to be able to position the video a little bit. So what we're going to do first is, as you have probably predicted, we're just going to go to CMS, and I'm just going to upload that particular video. So I'm just going to say, it's a video. I'm just going to upload the video right here. There we go. I'm going to say this is a course preview. There we go. All right. Oh, sorry. All right. So, notice that the key doesn't like it when I have a space, which is fine. Okay. So now what I'm going to do is, once again, I'm going to click on this little link icon. Okay. You know what I'm going to do is, I think this is probably a good idea to just say that, hey, this is a video, so I remember that's a video. Okay. And since I'm here, I'm just going to say this one is an image. There we go. Alrighty. So now, oh, actually, there's a little icon that's already indicate whether it's a video or not. Well, but still. Anyway, so I'm just going to click on the little link, and I'm going to copy it. Okay. So now that I have copied it, I'm going to come over here, and I'm going to, actually, I'm just going to put it in the notepad so I don't lose it. Okay. So pretend you want to add a few more sort of HTML. I'm just going to use a gibberish generator. Okay. And then pretend that you want to put some video right here. Okay. What you can do is you can use this tool, and then you can just basically copy and paste the source here, and then you can decide the width you want, and that's it. And then you just click on add. Okay. So, oh, there we go. Oh, sorry. I forgot to, I'm going to say preview. Okay. So now this is going to be much more manageable, and if I come over here and then refresh the screen, it loads much, much faster. And you can also control how big it is by, you know, click on this and say, you know what, I want the width to be 600. Right. So you can control it, and it's just much, much easier than if you want to copy and paste a video directly into the rich text box. And also, while we're on this page, I just want to mention that in the earlier tutorial, I mentioned how you can go to this part to manipulate the image source. We can also do is, obviously, I'm just going to copy it. This one right here. What you can also do is, let's just delete it. And you can also come over here, select, let me see, there we go, select an image. You can paste the link, and then you probably want to control it to say not so wide. And then, so that's probably an easier way for you to, so you don't have to even know HTML to get the image into your front matter. Thank you.
Video Summary
The video provides a walkthrough for uploading and positioning a video using a CMS. It guides users on uploading a video, assigning keys while noting space issues, and using HTML efficiently. After uploading, the video can be linked, with its source copied to a notepad. The video placement can be managed by specifying width, making it a more manageable size. Additionally, the method for including images without needing HTML knowledge is demonstrated, allowing users to manipulate source links and image sizes easily within the CMS. Overall, the process simplifies video and image integration within web content.
