Video Transcription
Before we show you the solution to the problem, we want to introduce a concept in Oasis that you may or may not already know. As administrator, you can go to Tools, CMS, and the CMS is a way for you to organize all your graphics or anything that you have in the system that is not necessarily related to a particular course as a learning content. Under CMS, I'm just going to create a folder structure. I'm going to call this Front Matters Graphics. I just call it Front Matters, it's fine. The inside of it, let's say I'm just going to create a folder for this particular course that I'm setting up. So give me one second. I'm just going to go back to this course and pretend this is OD1. So I'm just going to call it OD1. You can use whatever naming convention you have. Then inside this folder, I'm just going to add an image. I'm going to call this Front Matter Graphics. I'm just going to call it Graphics1, doesn't really matter. I'm just going to upload the image that I was showing earlier. So now what I have done is, instead of copy and paste a image file into Front Matter text area that make it bloated, I have actually just copied this image to the system. If I can view it, I can confirm that it is here. Okay, great. So now what I can do is, I just make sure this image here and that you can basically, however you want to use our content management system to organize your Front Matter, is entirely up to you. But the idea is, you want to make sure that you name it in a way that you can easily recognize which image or video, which I'm going to show later, belongs to which course, Front Matter. All right. So now that it is uploaded, in the next video tutorial, I'm going to show you how to use what you have uploaded. Thank you.
Video Summary
The video introduces the concept of the Content Management System (CMS) in Oasis, which allows administrators to organize graphics and other non-course-specific content. It demonstrates creating a folder structure for organizing such content and emphasizes naming conventions for easy recognition. An example folder named "Front Matters Graphics" is created and an image is uploaded into it. The approach prevents bloating text areas with images, improving organization. The upcoming video tutorial will explain how to utilize the uploaded content effectively.
