The data represented in each tab actually goes increasingly in complexity, which means the first tab is probably the easiest one to understand. So on the first tab, what we are doing is we are listing all the search terms. We are grouping them by month because we believe that sort of a monthly interval is a sufficient will have a sufficient data to make sense out of the data. So as you can see, there are a lot of search groupings in the past year for this particular client, and we are sorting by month. So you start with December 2024, but if you keep scrolling up there, I'm just going to jump ahead, you will see that you have November, October, September, so on and so forth. In addition to that, we also tell you within every month, how many other search term that's conducted and how many times it has been conducted and how many matches on average come back. So it's a very good exercise, for example, to focus on, say, a search term that is constantly being searched on, and if he has very low matches, that means a lot of people are looking for something that you don't have any content for. So that will be a good starting point to start, maybe try to tag things properly if you do have the content or create the content that your audience is looking for if you don't have the content, especially for things that are searched quite often. And obviously, if you think that you want to compact the data so that it's not broken down by month, but broken down by year, you can certainly do that just by downloading the Excel file. And the Excel file itself allows you to essentially do whatever manipulation you need to do in case you want to group things, say, by year instead of by month. But hopefully, this data is at least going to get you started on what people are looking for, do I have anything coming back, and how can I address any mismatch? For example, someone spelled, I guess, confidence wrong, so nothing come back. So that'll be something you probably cannot do much about. But there are also things, for example, let's just scroll down. So this one, zero come back, this is zero come back. So if you think that CES is something that should have some data coming back, but there isn't, then we probably want to make sure that we tag things properly or we create some content. So hopefully, you will find the search term report helpful. Thank you.
Video Summary
The transcript describes a data report that organizes search terms by month, highlighting the frequency of searches and their match rates. By examining this data, users can identify popular search terms with low match rates, indicating a lack of relevant content. This insight can help in creating or tagging content appropriately to meet user needs. The data can also be manipulated, such as grouping by year, by downloading and adjusting the Excel file. The goal is to understand user search behavior and address any mismatches in content availability.
