Now that we have enabled badging as part of the achievement mechanics within OASIS LMS, we're going to use this fictitious company called Microsoft, who happens to run on OASIS LMS and who happen to have three courses. I'm going to set up a badging mechanics based on any student who complete these three courses. So what we're going to do is we're going to go to Tools, Lists, and notice now this shows up under Badges because we have named it as Badge. And we're going to create a new badge called Certified Microsoft Security Officer or say Professional. And what we're going to do is we're going to say out of all three courses, let's say you only have to do two. So obviously you can say require all course completion. But for my example, I'm going to say that you only have to finish two. I'm going to click on Save. So at this point, this is the setup of your badging. What you can do is you can set it up here, but I'm just going to use Visual Builder to help you understand how the system is going to display the badge. So the first thing is I'm going to add the earning criteria. I'm going to say that, hey, you got to do two out of these three. OK, and I'm going to add some tags to highlight what the user can do after they achieve the certificate. So I'm going to say skill and let's say they will be able to do, let's say, security. OK, and also when they receive this badge, they also have a skill. Let's say anti-malware. OK, and then let's say they also have another skill called, let's say, Microsoft technology. So and obviously you don't always have to have skill. You can also have other things, but I just want to set this up so that it's fairly simple. OK, and then I want to give a little bit description of what this badge will actually mean. So obviously you should put some flowery language in here so the user knows what having this badge means. But for my illustration purpose, I'm just going to create some gibberish so that that's good enough for me. And then I'm going to add a badge in the future. Oasis will try to create built in tools to help you create a badge. But here you just have to upload a badge. So this is what we're going to do. I'm going to go to I have some badges created on my own computer. So here we go. So I'm just going to select this badge right here. OK, so it says that your fundamentals, even though it doesn't match that, just because that's happened to be a badge I have on my computer. OK, so obviously you want to spend some time, make sure that the badge looks good. And obviously you should make sure the title of the badge matches the image. But in either case, I'm going to go back to detail. And as you can see here, what I have done on the visual builder, you can also do it here. So you can also click on edit here. You can put in the information. You can say whether how many is required. You can say put in the skills, which is referred to as meta tags. It doesn't have to be skills. Like I said, it can also be other things. And then you can also list the courses that's required. So now that I have set up the badge, we're just make sure when you're happy with it, you can publish. OK, so I'm just going to publish. OK, and to make sure the badge looks good, you can click on preview badges. And this is what the badge looks like for the user. And they also have ability to verify the badge, which when you preview is always going to say no verified because this badge technically is being previewed and has not been earned. So at this point, you have already set up a badge. I'm going to close this tab and your learner is ready to achieve or earn this badge, which is what we're going to record in the next video. Thank you.
