Now that we have explained conceptually how the Goldilocks layouts can be used, let's go to the website. Under Dashboard, Catalog Settings, you will see a set of Goldilocks templates. When you click on Goldilocks Layout, you will see that there are three templates that we are currently working on, and only one, called Abby, is available. Keep in mind that in the future, we are going to have more templates, and they are going to be selected here, and you can click on the little magnifying glass to see a few screenshots of possible catalog layouts created using this particular layout. Now, hopefully this number will go higher and higher as we go on. Next one is Manage Layout. When you click on Manage Layout, here are all the layouts that you have created. You can click on Add New Layout, and let's say, for example, Practice Abby Layout, and you can select Abby, and you click on Save. And then you can see this is the layout that you can use. In the next tutorial, we'll do a deep dive of what Abby layout looks like, but as you can see, you can have as many layouts as you want, but you have to select one of many as a default layout for your Goldilocks template. Last but not least, as you are experimenting with the layout, and you decide to make a few changes, but you are afraid that you will lose some of the changes you have made previously, we recommend that you can clone your layout so that you can have multiple versions of it. Just remember, after you create a few versions, you probably want to clean up by deleting a few layouts you know for sure you don't want. Otherwise, this list can get quite long and quite messy. So that is how the website helps you manage both how many layouts is available as a template and how many layouts you have already created as you configure each different template, and how you can configure which layout is going to be the default template for the Goldilocks catalog. Next set of tutorial, we'll go into each different layout and do a deep dive on what make that particular layout unique and how they're different from each other. Thank you.
Video Summary
The video explains managing Goldilocks layout templates on a website. Currently, one template, "Abby," is available for use under Catalog Settings. Users can manage created layouts, add new ones, and choose a default layout. To preserve changes without loss, layouts can be cloned, ensuring multiple versions exist for testing. It's advised to delete unwanted layouts to maintain organization. Future tutorials will explore each layout's unique features.
