Now that we have seen this straightforward setup, what we will do is we are going to set up a search criteria that is featured. So these are the search criteria that we have, but none of them are featured. So as administrator under dashboard, I'm going to go to catalog settings. And under search criteria, I am going to feature the entire course. So I'm going to click on that. I'm going to click on featured. I can upload a special image if I want, but just keep things simple. I'm just going to leave it empty. OK, so now what I have done is I have made course search criteria as a feature section. And then I'm going to go back to the course settings, feature courses, and I'm just going to make the courses number one position. There we go. Then I'm going to come over here as a user who have not logged in. I'm going to click on courses. So if I don't scroll, nothing actually seems changed. But if I scroll a little bit more, you will see that all the courses within the featured search criteria is listed in its own panel. And in this case, you will notice that it has one, two, three, four. It has four search criteria, which means it has four search criteria underneath it with a heading that says courses, which matches this label. So as you can see, the reason we call it stacked is because you can start with a feature course and you can stack another section by simply featuring a search criteria.
Video Summary
In the video, the speaker demonstrates how to set up and feature search criteria in a course catalog. As an administrator, they access the dashboard and go to catalog settings. Under search criteria, they select the option to feature the entire course and choose to leave the image field empty. They then go back to the course settings and set the featured courses to be in the number one position. When viewing the courses as a user who isn't logged in, all the courses within the featured search criteria are listed in a separate panel when scrolling down. The speaker explains that this stacked layout can be achieved by featuring a search criteria alongside a featured course. <br />No credits were provided in the transcript.
