Summarizing Evaluation Responses with OpenAI-1 - Use OpenAI to generate insight and summaries for evaluation questions

In this video tutorial, we will go over how to leverage OpenAI to help you summarize the evaluation responses.  So I'm going to select this course, and I happen to select this course because it has quite a few evaluation questions.  And the one that I'm really focused on is the last question, which is an open text question. OK, so I'm going to go to evaluation report, just like what I have always done before.  And as you already probably know from earlier, multiple choice and text slash number type of questions.  Other responses are listed here, and you can export both the table format in Excel file or the raw response.  Click by this button. We have introduced this new one called analysis and insight, and this one you click on it.  What happens is you will actually only help you look at the free response ones.  And keep in mind that we can only help you with responses that actually have at least 10 valid responses,  because otherwise there really isn't a whole lot to work from. So I'm just going to click on generate.  What it is doing now is it is taking all the questions, which I only have one that is free text, and that is actually generating using OpenAI some sort of insight and summary.  So as you can see by default, it's just going to be a short insight based on the data that you have.  As you can see here, we're not going to read exactly what is being generated by OpenAI, because obviously that's going to be different from question to question.  And as a matter of fact, OpenAI will give you a slightly different response every time.  But hopefully you can see how you can get to the point where you can start experimenting with how to generate a summary  or generate insight for your open-ended questions by leveraging OASIS that can now talk to OpenAI.
