Template-Based Certificate PDF Generation-Oasis Concept: Three Levels of Certificate Templates

Oasis, when it comes to generating the PDF that user can download as a certificate for completing an activity, we offer three levels of template, even though you probably won't  need all three levels. The first level is what we refer to as system level template. This is a single template that every single course uses, and because we allow keywords  on the template, 90% of the time a system level template is all you need because all your certificate will look the same except a few keywords on them.  So the system level template will look just fine, and we'll go over how to set that up in a little bit.  If your template would be different significantly from different credit types to different credit types, then we offer credit level template.  This is assuming that if you offer, for example, continuing education that has a completely different look and feel for the certificate versus a certificate of completion, then you  can set up credit level certificate, which we'll go over in a little bit as well. Now there might come a time where your certificate for one or a handful of courses that needs  to look different just for them, then you can set up course level template. That just means that certificate for that course is going to be based on the course  level template regardless what credit it offers and regardless what system level template is in place. So we're going to focus on that in a later video tutorial as well.  But it's very important to understand that there are three levels of template that's  available to you, and each level has the keywords, and majority of the time system level template  is going to be sufficient, and credit level and course level template should only be used  when your template looks significantly different, and we cannot use one template with keywords to accommodate.
