As you may or may not know, when you have a live webinar, it can be Zoom-based, it can be GoTo, it can be Cisco WebEx. But when you have a webinar, and the webinar happens to have an evaluation, by default, without you doing anything, the evaluation becomes available to the user when the meeting starts. So in my example here, the meeting is scheduled to start at 7 p.m., and it's going to go until 8 p.m. Central Standard Time. That means at 7 p.m. exactly, anyone who has registered will be able to start the evaluation. The idea is we want to make sure that if someone has to leave early, they will be able to do the evaluation and give you valuable feedback. Without having to stay until the very end. However, that may not always be what you want. Therefore, under configuration, you can, if you want, say that, hey, I want the user to be able to do the evaluation X minutes before it ends. For example, I have a 60-minute webinar. I could say that the evaluation opens up 15 minutes before the meeting ends. And in this case, because the meeting ends at 8 p.m., the user will be able to fill out the evaluation at 7.45 p.m. Now, this meeting does not track attendance. I will go in and I will track attendance. And I will say that the user will be considered attended if they have attended the meeting for 45 minutes. Once that happens, under configuration, I'm just going to refresh the setting. Notice that I now have additional settings. I can say that the user, if they have attended at least, let's say, 30 minutes, I will allow them to do the evaluation. Or I can say that attendance is required, which means they had to do 45 minutes minimum. So, as you can see, we have added a little bit more flexibility to account for additional requirement that you might have on when a user can fill out the evaluation for a live course, assuming the default option of as soon as meeting starts is not suitable for your use case. Thank you.
Video Summary
In a live webinar, evaluations are automatically accessible to users when the webinar begins. However, you can adjust when the evaluation becomes available based on your preferences. For instance, you can allow users to fill out the evaluation a set number of minutes before the meeting ends. This flexibility accommodates different needs, ensuring participants can provide feedback even if they need to leave early. Additionally, you have the option to track attendance and set specific criteria for when users can access the evaluation, such as requiring a minimum attendance time. These customizable settings offer more control over the evaluation process for live courses.
