Video Transcription
Sometimes you might have a user who you just want to start a course for him without him going through the normal purchase process either because the course has expired or you don't want to go through the manual purchase or explicit granting you just want to give user access to something so you go to user courses after you find the user you go to user courses and use a drop-down you look for the courses that has not been started for the user and you use a click on start to force start a course so what so here Adam Chicago has never started this course I just click on start and now if I go to Adam Chicago's page he's gonna see the EC ESI course right here that has been started so you can manually force open a course for the user regardless how your system is configured it is a very brute force he ignores all business rules so you really should do this with caution thank you
Video Summary
In the video, the presenter explains how to manually grant a user access to a course without going through the normal purchase process. This might be useful if a course has expired or if the user needs immediate access without the need for manual purchase or granting. To do this, the presenter demonstrates how to find the user in the system, go to their user courses, and use a dropdown menu to select the course that has not been started. Clicking on "start" will force start the course for the user. It is important to exercise caution when using this method as it ignores all business rules.<br />No credits were granted in the video.
