Hi, in this recording will talk about how to set up evaluations that contains faculty evaluation. So here in course demo a we have evaluation questions and this is a pretty simple, silly questions that we set up as a demo and there really isn't anything complicated about it, right? So you could add questions that just repeats itself with the question instruction that asked about the particular faculty. If, for example, you have two person teaching this course, but just so everyone see the difference. So I'm just going to come over here, go through the course as a learner and go to evaluation. So potentially you could have questions repeated for each instructor. The problem with our approach is it's hard to control. It's hard to control if someone only say were only taught by one faculty, but you'll be asking them to evaluate two faculty, which means it's hard for that person to evaluate someone that they didn't have interaction with, right? So one thing you can do is you can do this. First is you have to go to configuration and you have to add faculty and I happen to have two faculties, Albert Einstein and Thomas Edison. OK, in my demo system and then why do that? I'm going to go back to here. I'm going to click yes to say contain faculty evaluation. Then under faculty evaluation I could ask some questions. This time I'm going to say multiple choice. How did the faculty perform? OK, now I'm going to say level quality. There we go. So now that I have did that as a learner. I'm just going to refresh the screen. You will see that the learner will see the question you have for the faculties, but it's repeated for both faculty that is associated with the course. You could, if you want to say require evaluation for all faculty, you set it to no. Then what happens is when the user do the evaluation, they will have to select which one they want to do evaluations for. So this gives you a chance to let the user decide which faculty they want to evaluate for, whether it is one or both, right? And obviously you can have as many faculties associated with the course as you want. Thank you.
Video Summary
In this video, the speaker discusses how to set up faculty evaluations in an online course. They explain that it is possible to add questions that repeat for each instructor, but caution that it can be difficult to control if a student only had interactions with one faculty member. The solution provided is to go to the configuration settings and add the faculty members' names. This allows students to choose which faculty member they want to evaluate or evaluate both if desired. The speaker also mentions that multiple faculties can be associated with the course. No credits were mentioned in the video.
