In this video walkthrough, we'll show how to set up a course where it has the evaluation, even though that's not the focus of this walkthrough, but also have a post-survey, which will be emailed to the user X number of days after the user has finished the course. So we will just show how to set it up after the course has already been created. Go to manage feature and select post-survey. So when you select post-survey, what happens is there's going to be a new tab here called post-survey. And then when you click on it, you can set how when the post-survey is supposed to be emailed to the user. So you can say that 90 days after you finish the course, I would like to ask you to fill out the survey. Typically, just because the survey is available for the user does not mean that the user will actually fill it out. You got to send them an email reminders. So here is where you can set a reminders and you can set as many reminders as you want. So for example, you can say, I'm going to send one day after the post-survey become available, which in this case will be 91 days after the user has finished the course. We can just say, hey, please fill out this reminder. This is a post-survey. Probably you need to send the user a few reminders. So you can say maybe seven days, I'm going to send the user another reminder so that I will sort of tap on the user's shoulder twice. You can do this obviously as many times as you want. So you can say, you know, I will do one more time 30 days after. And then each message can have its own subject and have its own message itself. Now, the survey that you're going to send to the user 90 days after is controlled by here. You can add a question. So we're not going to add something too complicated. We're just going to add something that would showcase the mechanics. So what we're going to do is we're going to say, did you actually change, let's say, did you actually, were you able to operate Stripe Console within the 90 days after your training? And let's say we're just going to say yes or no question. That's good enough for us. So now you can see that's all we had to do. And we are, let's just go back out and go back in. Just make sure everything's stick. So that's good. So now what we're going to do is we are going to go to a different browser and let's just switch as learner to show what the learner sees. So let's say the learner go through it. So this is going to be, I'm just going to use a fake credit card just because this is a test system. Okay. Okay. It looks like it's not a fake system, so I need to zero out the price. There we go. So let's try this again. It's free. We'll get started. So notice that there are three steps to the user. There is the normal course, there is the evaluation, and there is the post survey. So the user can go to the course. There are five videos, all optional. They can then go directly to the evaluation, which is, you know, is yes. This is optional. We're just going to click on submit. So at this point, the user technically has already finished the course, but the survey will be made available to them 90 days from today, which is on this date. And they will also receive an email based on how we configure it. So what we're going to do now is we're just going to pause the video and manipulate a little bit with the backend as if the user finished the course before, 90 days before, so we can show you the email that's going out and also the mechanics for the user that will be able to take the post survey. So we're going to pause the video really quick. So we have played around with the backend as if I had finished the course four months ago, and that we, if we look, the email notification, it actually has sent out the reminder, let the user know that the follow-up survey has become available. And if the user log in, this is what the user will see. They will be able to see the fact that the post survey is available, and they can start, and they will be able to do the survey. So as you can see, a post survey is very similar to evaluation. The only difference is it is meant to be unlocked X number of days after the course has been completed instead of as soon as the user finished the course.
Video Summary
This video walkthrough demonstrates how to set up a post-survey for a course. The focus is on setting up the survey after the course has already been created. To access the post-survey feature, go to the manage feature and select post-survey. From there, you can set the timing for when the post-survey should be emailed to users, such as 90 days after completing the course. Multiple reminders can be set to prompt users to fill out the survey. Each reminder can have its own subject and message. The survey itself can contain questions, which can be tailored to the specific needs of the course. The post-survey is similar to the course evaluation, but is meant to be unlocked a certain number of days after course completion.
