Video Transcription
Under dashboard course layout, you will see on the left hand side here is all the possible things that you can turn on. We definitely do not recommend turn everything on just for fun, but it is controlled here, even though a lot of it may not be applicable to what your system needs to do. And this directly shows up on the left hand side here. But suppose you want to add additional navigation. You can click on custom user navigation and then click on navigation. And then you can add a navigation here. So I'm just going to pretend I'm going to add a navigation. For example, I will create one called, for example, additional resource. And pretend that I'm going to send the user to Google, just as an example. And I'm going to use the navigation. Suppose I am going to use a little icon that looks like this. And I'm going to say that when the user clicks on it, it's going to open a new window. And this navigation is displayed both before the user login and after the user login. So I'm going to click on save. And then I'm going to drag this down a little bit to say, hey, this is going to be right below my courses and right above recommended courses. So that's sort of what I'm telling the system that I want to do. And if I refresh the screen, you will see that the additional resource is displayed here. So obviously, you have to be a little bit careful of how long you want the text to be, because if it's too long, it will create wrapping. So I can say, you know what, I don't like wrapping. So how about I'm just going to say additional with an abbreviation, resource. So then I'm going to refresh. And now it's going to fit. And then when I click on it, it will send the user to Google. And because I checked the box to say that it needs to be displayed before and after the user login, I'm going to click on close. You can see that even before the user login, they can also see this icon. So this is what we refer to as custom navigation, which is available under dashboard, course layout, custom user navigation. And there's a button that says navigate. And you can definitely add more than one. So thank you.
