released, Oasis have updated all the rich text editor to a new version of rich text box editor. They are used throughout the system and we are going to use one place to demonstrate the capability. So for live course under event info you can actually add new information which allows rich text box editor. So let's pretend this is going to be general information and you can click on rich text box to turn on the rich text box editor. In this pop-up you can actually do full screen to make a little bit bigger. So a few things we would like to mention. The rich text box editor idea is what you see is what you get. So what you see is what you get. So you can make it bold and then it's there. There's a few things that we added. I shouldn't say we added. The rich text box editor that we purchased and included in Oasis. Some of the unique features that it has over the previous version of the rich rich text box editor is that it allows an easier copy and paste experience. So for example, suppose I want to copy and paste some, let's say since Avengers coming out, so Avengers Endgame. So imagine that I want to take a screenshot of this particular image. After I do that I can actually just control V and they will be able to paste it here. So if you have any artwork or anything that you want to be part of your description or anything like that you can just easily copy and paste. So that's one thing that you can do and that when you click on add you will be able to see that it looks nice. In addition you can also have ability to use this dot dot dot and then it allows you to put some template. So we have a few templates but let's just select the first one which is the speaker template. So when you click on save what happens is we give you a template of what a layout might be if you have 10 speakers. So you can actually delete that and then say copy and paste that and then that will be the image for the speaker for example and then you can put another superhero as a second speaker. So let's make it right here Captain America. There we go. So as you can see you can just copy and paste and use the template which the template is nothing more than just an existing table that lets you quickly drop in there without knowing HTML. Not all of the rich text box has been replaced because some of the rich text box that we have in Oasis has certain programming capability that the new rich text box does not support. So you might see a variety of two variations of the rich text box editor but majority I would say 90% of the rich text box editor has been updated to this version which allow a much more easier flow to copy and paste images and also make it easier for you to use as a regular user. And another feature that is very very good is that it allows a much more friendly copy and paste from Word. So for example Word copy and paste. So imagine that I'm going to grab a Word document. So I'm going to pause the video and grab a Word document. So this is just an example of a Word document. So imagine I have this Word document and I want to copy something over. I can copy it. Okay, copy. And then I switch over and I just go paste. Control V. Oh, sorry. Rich text box. We need to trigger the rich text box. And I go Control V. And it actually says, hey, do you want to remove the formatting or keep the formatting? A lot of the issue we run into is when you copy and paste from Word, Word has a lot of invisible HTMLs that when you copy over you keep those formatting and make things really ugly. So what we recommend is just say remove formatting and then things just look a little bit easier for you to then clean up. So copy and paste from Word has been dramatically improved which is actually one of the primary reasons we moved to this new rich text box editor. So this is another improvement in the new version of OASIS LMS.
