Video Transcription
common questions we have we get is with all the meta tagging that's possible how can we get a subject matter expert into the system to do this tagging to do that actually just let's pretend that that there's a lot of content in this particular document repository and you want some people you want your faculties to go in there and tag them instead of making your faculty administrator you should go to configuration and add them as a faculty so you just find your faculty and add them if they're not on the list that just means that their user account has not been flipped to a faculty and you should do that when you make someone a faculty what happens is let's pretend that we're going to log in as Andrew Rosenbaum so here we go I'm going to go here so here Dr. Andrew Rosenbaum has already logged in when Dr. Rosenbaum logs in there's going to be a screen for them to actually click on content and then for them to be able to actually tag by clicking on this icon and then they can use whatever tagging methodology that you have already enabled so this allows your faculty to be able to tag things without giving them admin permission
Video Summary
In this video, the speaker addresses a common question about how to involve subject matter experts in the process of meta tagging. Instead of making experts administrators, it is suggested to add them as faculty members in the configuration settings. By adding them as faculty, experts can log in to the system and access the content. They can then tag the content by clicking on the designated icon and using the enabled tagging methodology. This approach allows experts to tag content without granting them administrative permissions. No credits were mentioned in the video transcript.
