In this video tutorial, we will go over how to use OASIS to manage a fairly complicated curriculum. Before we start, we just want to use a visual diagram to lay out exactly what this curriculum actually does. So this curriculum is called Alternative Pathways to Board Certification in Laboratory Genetics and Genomics. This particular product, when someone buys it, they will have access to three different components. They will get a voucher to attend one of the foundational courses. They will also get a voucher to attend one of the short courses. And also, they will get access to all the online content, which happens to be sold separately. So this online content is available for purchase at a separate cost, but if you purchase this Alternative Pathways product, you will get access to those for free. And because of the fact that the online content is also sold separately, it needs to be created as a bundle, which we're going to show later. But we want to focus on exactly what makes this particular curriculum unique, in the sense that for the first component that is part of the purchase, you can pick one of two foundational courses. One is done in 2019, another one is done in 2020. So there are two green blocks, but you pick one of the two. And also, there's going to be a short course that you can attend as a part of the purchase, which is one of the three. So there's one in 2019, one in 2020, and one in 2021. So you have to pick which one of the three that you want to attend. And also, there's some orange blocks that need to be emphasized. When you select a foundational course, the user needs to declare what is their Board of Certification, as that information is required for the foundational course. Because in the foundational course, there might be different sessions that they go to based on which Board of Certification they belong to. And in all courses, all live courses, and the registration happens on another website that's outside of OASIS. So this is sort of the problem that we are trying to solve, is how to manage a curriculum like this within OASIS. So the next few videos will actually go through step-by-step how to set this up inside of OASIS. But at least the first video gives you an overview of the problem we are trying to solve.
