Video Transcription
The video walkthrough will show how you can use OASIS to deliver the recordings from your annual meeting. There are two typical use cases for such configuration. One is to make the recordings available for attendees of your annual meeting so that they can either watch the sessions that they like or watch the sessions that they missed. Another use case is to make the recordings from your annual meeting another product that can be sold to people who did not attend your annual meeting. So a typical configuration is when you go into the meeting, you'll see that the content, the recordings of the meetings are organized into different tracks, and then when you drill down to different tracks, there are actually different sessions within the track. So sometimes you can group things into days, and then all the sessions within a day are grouped together. So it really depends on how you want to group your videos so that the learner can easily find what they're looking for. And in this particular configuration, all the video captures are grouped into tracks, and within each track, there are actually different sessions, and within each session, there's actually presentations within the session, and then when you finish all the presentations in the session, you'll receive credit. So as you can see here, at the very high level, you can see that there are 48.75 CME associated with it, and then inside this track, there's 10. When you click into it, you'll see that the first one contains one CME, and when you go into that one, you'll see that there's some pre-test, some learning content, post-test, and the evaluation. And for the learning content, it's just video captures of each presentation during that session. A couple of things to mention before we get into the nitty-gritty details of how to set this up. Each learning unit offers some credit. It can be whatever number of credit you want. In this particular example that we're doing, we are having a pre-test, content, post-test, and evaluation. You do not have to have this for your particular product. You could very well only have some content, and then evaluation, if that meets your requirement, or you could have some content, and then some post-test, and then evaluation. So it is definitely required that before you set up your annual meeting within OASIS, you should be familiar with what is an on-demand course look like, and how to set up an on-demand course, because each accredited unit is essentially a course that is on-demand. So it is very important for you to understand what is an on-demand course before you continue with this module.
Video Summary
This video walkthrough explains how to use OASIS to deliver recordings from an annual meeting. There are two common uses for this configuration. One is to provide the recordings to attendees, allowing them to watch sessions they missed or are interested in. The other use case is to sell the recordings as a product to non-attendees. The recordings are organized into tracks and sessions, which can be grouped by day or any other preferred method. Each session contains presentations, and after completing all presentations in a session, credit is awarded. The video demonstrates how to set up this configuration in OASIS, emphasizing the importance of understanding on-demand courses before proceeding. No credits are mentioned.
