Video Transcription
We're going to go over another type of skill assessment where it's a two-stage exercise where the user performs certain actions in stage A, but the submissions are not automatically approved but require a manual approval. So it's assignment plus approval step, which creates a two-stage process. So it will use the example of some x-ray technicians that have to submit some x-rays, and there are some required x-ray scans and some optional ones. And the idea is, after they make a submission, a faculty will go in to approve or reject, and if the particular submission has been approved, the user will be able to claim the credit. If their submission is rejected, the learner will have to redo their submission and go through the approval process again. So that is the workflow that we are trying to create within OASIS to illustrate the assignment plus approval feature.
Video Summary
In this video, the speaker explains a two-stage skill assessment process. In stage A, users perform specific actions, but their submissions require manual approval to proceed. The example used involves x-ray technicians submitting x-rays, with some being required and others optional. Faculty members review and either approve or reject the submissions. If approved, the user can claim credit, but if rejected, they must redo the submission and go through the approval process again. This workflow is being implemented in OASIS to showcase the assignment plus approval feature. (100 words)
