If your system is configured to use OASIS to collect credit card but still use your AMS as entitlement source of truth It is very important to understand this diagram  On the left-hand side is OASIS LMS On the right-hand side is your AMS Notice that one user is trying to access a product that they do not have access to  They will be prompted to pay for the product The purple indicate the steps that OASIS process The first step is we will process user's credit card against your credit card processor  That's step one. User stays on the learning management system Step two. The OASIS LMS will push this new entitlement to your AMS User still stay on the LMS, does not leave the LMS  But the LMS has informed your AMS what has just been purchased for the user This is important because step three The LMS will then pull user's entitlement from your AMS  The reason that we are doing step two  Followed by step three is that we want your AMS to remain as the source of truth For all user entitlement So even though we process the person's credit card  Which means we obviously know whether the user should have access to the course or not We still do this round trip of letting your AMS know the purchase  And then pull the entitlement which if everything works correctly Should include the entitlement that we just informed your AMS  So this round trip is transparent or happens in the background But it is very important to understand  Because with this round trip your AMS remain as a source of truth for the entitlement Now that they come back we will then give user access to start the product  Now it is also important to remember if your AMS breaks Where when we send the user's entitlement to the AMS  And then when we pull the user entitlement that we pushed over in step two Is not included here The user will get stuck in a forever loop  Because the system is going to say wait you don't have access to it Now we are going to process the credit card again Then we are going to push the user entitlement to the AMS  And then when we pull back if AMS continues to break You see the user was stuck in this loop Will never get to step four So this is very subtle but very important to understand  How the system works when the credit card is collected in OASIS But the entitlement is managed in AMS Thank you
