The presentation introduced Agent Nate, OASIS’s data-focused assistant, and Nexus, an upcoming MCP server that lets AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT query OASIS data using natural language. Nate also offers direct database access through two daily refreshed PostgreSQL databases: one with five years of anonymized data and another with full historical data. Its “Chat with Your Data” feature lets users ask questions about information stored in OASIS.<br /><br />Nexus is designed to make OASIS data easier to use without relying on IT teams. It currently exposes 42 data sets, up from 22, and is read-only. Demonstrations showed an AI reviewing an item bank against PubMed and medical guidelines, building and revising an interactive analytics dashboard, and scheduling recurring reports. Connecting Nexus with other MCP-enabled services could also support workflows across systems such as Salesforce and marketing platforms.<br /><br />The OASIS connector was listed in Claude, but an update issue meant it was not yet working; approval and tutorials were still pending. The presenter invited users to suggest additional data sets and use cases.
