In this video, we'll highlight another option that you can turn on or off for Proctor. So once again, in the Proctor setting, this time I'm going to highlight what it means to do scheduled exam admission. So I'm just going to have the same split screen that I had before. And this time I'm going to ask Alfonso to take the test. So now that Alfonso has entered, you can see that Alfonso turns green. And notice that, I'm just going to refresh the screen to show you, in addition to admit to exam, which will let Alfonso in the exam right away, I can click on schedule exam admission. And I can say that I would like Alfonso to get into the exam at 5.55 p.m. Central Standard Time, which is exactly three minutes from now. So I'm going to click on set. On the left-hand side, you can see that Alfonso's screen changes, and now it says you can start the exam in, and then there's a countdown. So the idea is, if you click on admit to exam, the user will get in the exam right away. If you click on schedule exam admission, you can let the schedule a future date and time when the user will be able to enter the exam. And then the system will just let the student know how long they have to wait in the exam before they enter the exam. So I'm just going to pause the video for about one minute or so to show you the user experience right when the timer is up so that the user can get into the exam. So now I am resuming my recording right leading up to the timer about to run out for Alfonso. So as you can see, Alfonso can promptly start at 5.55 p.m. And notice, while Alfonso was waiting in the waiting room, his timer for the exam did not start. But here, he has 75 minutes to do the exam, and the time officially starts. As a matter of fact, as I go through the exam as Alfonso, on the left-hand side, as a student, on the right-hand side, you can see that Alfonso is progressing. So this is what it means when the proctor schedule a future date and time when the student can start their exam. So instead of letting the user into the exam right away, you can schedule a future date and time. Thank you.
Video Summary
In this video, the speaker demonstrates the option to schedule exam admission in the Proctor setting. Using a split screen, the speaker invites a student named Alfonso to take the test. By selecting "admit to exam" or "schedule exam admission," the speaker can control when Alfonso can enter the exam. A countdown timer is displayed, indicating the time remaining for Alfonso to start. Once the timer finishes, Alfonso can begin the exam, and a 75-minute timer starts counting down. The video explains that this feature allows proctors to set future dates and times for students to start their exams instead of immediate access. No credits mentioned.
