If your proctor is responsible for multiple exams under his or her page for proctoring every single exam is going to be listed on its own line OASIS only allows the proctor to see all the students for a single exam on a single page So for example, I'm going to navigate to this exam You can see that Fonzo is still in the middle of working and here's every other student I can then, if I want to look at everyone for grade 11 I can open a new tab Here's another 4th student that is waiting to basically be monitored for grade 11 I can open another tab and here's another 3 students So obviously, the more exams that the proctor needs to monitor at the same time the more tabs that he or she had to open which can be a little bit overwhelming but that is sort of the limitation or the design of OASIS where each tab, each page is only meant for one exam and when a proctor needs to monitor, say, 50 different exams at the exact same time he or she will have the unfortunate problem of opening 50 tabs, one for each exam Hopefully, a proctor is not going to be responsible for too many exams at the exact same time but if they are, then they have to open X number of tabs for X number of exams each tab mapping to one of the exam that they are monitoring and then they would just have to basically they could just sort of toggle through the tabs to see where each are Keep in mind, sometimes Chrome will slow down your tab if it's not selected so you might have to click on refresh in order for OASIS to trigger the engine to check because a hidden tab or an inactive tab does not have as much CPU resources allocated to it to keep talking to the browser for status update So keep in mind, if a proctor is proctoring multiple exams he can only monitor one exam per page, which means he had to open multiple tabs Thank you
Video Summary
The video explains that in OASIS, when a proctor is responsible for multiple exams, each exam is listed on its own line. However, the proctor can only see all the students for a single exam on a single page. To monitor multiple exams at the same time, the proctor needs to open multiple tabs, with each tab representing one exam. This can be overwhelming if the proctor has to monitor a large number of exams simultaneously. It is important to note that inactive tabs may slow down, so refreshing the page might be necessary. The video concludes by mentioning that a proctor can only monitor one exam per page and multiple tabs are required for monitoring multiple exams.
