Now that Katy Perry has timed out, she probably will call an admin support to ask about extending her time. So find the user, click on User Courses, and navigate to the exam that has timed out. Just like before, you click on the question the user has answered and click on Section. So in this case, you can see that the user has finished the first section and used ten minutes already, and then we probably want to add more time to the user. So what I'm going to do is I'm just going to add three minutes to each of the sections that the user has timed out. Know that what I'm doing is what the admin should do at its own discretion. So if you always give users more time on the time of the exam when they ask, you probably are defeating the purpose of having a timed exam. So here I'm going to say, okay, it was ten minutes. I'm going to give you, say, 25 minutes. That way, you have 15 additional minutes to do the exam. So now what I'm going to do is I did not extend any time for Section A, and that ends up extending time for the next four sections, and also give users 15 extra minutes of break time. So now what I'm going to do is I'm going to log back in as Katy Perry, and I'm going to navigate back to the exam as Katy Perry. Notice the first section will continue to be logged out because she did finish the first section and we did not extend any time for the first section. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to go to continue the exam, which will take the user directly to the second section. So this time I'm going to record Katy Perry taking second section, which is the first section that she timed out. Notice that she continued to have three minutes, but not because she always has three minutes, but because she has exhausted her first three minutes, and as administrator, I have given her additional three minutes for this section. So now what I'm going to do is I'm going to continue, and I will basically reach the end of the section, and then when I click on proceed, notice that the user had 15 minutes. So the exam originally had 10, the user timed out, and the timed out process exhausted the break. I made the time for break as 25 minutes so that the user have 15 additional minute for break. And then the user will basically go through the process just like before, knowing that now she has additional three minutes for each of the section that she did not have a time to finish, and additional 15 minutes to take across the three remaining breaks. We're not going to finish this entire flow at this point, just because the rest of it is essentially the same thing. Note that if the user timed out again because of whatever IT issue or computer issue, she will have to call in again, and the minister can rinse and repeat with the time extension, assuming she come up with a valid excuse.
